Eva Longoria in double-page L'Oreal ad

IMTA alum Eva Longoria is the spokesperson for L'Oreal Paris and a brand new gorgeous ad featuring her is appearing in several magazines! Eva signed the exclusive worldwide contract with L'Oreal Paris in the spring of 2005.

Eva was honored to be selected saying,"To have L'Oreal select me as a spokesperson is a wonderful honor,” said Eva, “L'Oreal is one of the few companies that really reflect my values. Their company philosophy and their legendary phrase, ‘Because I'm Worth It,’ go hand in hand with who I am as a person. It's exciting to be a part of such a diverse group of spokespeople, from all-American Heather Locklear to African-American Beyonce, and now me, a Latina. This is it, the best, the culmination of an amazing year."

The youngest of four sisters who grew up on a ranch in Corpus Christi, Texas, Eva's talent and persistence with her acting have paid off. Eva competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 1998. She received 38 callbacks and signed with theatrical agent who encouraged her to move to L.A. and the rest is Hollywood history! She starred on the daytime dramas as The Young and the Restless and General Hospital, and she currently stars on the ABC mega hit Desperate Housewives, where she portrays Latin sex symbol Gabrielle Solis.

Eva is the second IMTA alum to serve as spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris. Jessica Biel represented the company in commercials, print ads and on their website beginning in 2002.

Live at the Royal Albert Hall

Ev’ry night I sit here by my window
Starin’ at the lonely avenue
Watching lovers holdin’ hands ’n’ laughin’
Thinkin’ ’bout the things we used to do
Chorus(thinkin’ ’bout things) like a walk in the park
like a kiss in the dark
like a sailboat ride - what about the night we cried?
Things like a lover’s vowThings that we don’t do nowThinkin’ ’bout the things we used to do
Memories are all I have to cling to (cling to)
And heartaches are the friends I’m talkin’ to (but you got me now)
But I’m not thinkin’ bout just how much I love you (I love you too)
I’m thinkin’ ’bout the things we used to do
ChorusStill can hear the jukebox softly playin’
And the face each day I see belongs to you
There’s not a single sound and there’s nobody else around
It’s just me thinkin’ ’bout the things we used to do
ChorusAnd the heartaches are the friends I’m talkin’ to
You got me thinkin’ ’bout the things we used to do

Fight club (necessary modern accessory)

-When you buy furniture, you tell yourself, that's it. That's the last sofa l'll need.
Whatever happens, that sofa problem is handled. l had it all. l had a stereo that was very decent. A wardrobe that was getting very respectable. l was close to being complete.
-Shit, man. Now it's all gone.- All gone.
All gone.
-Do you know what a duvet is?
A comforter.
lt's a blanket.
-Just a blanket. Why do guys like you and l know what a duvet is?
ls this essential to our survival in the hunter-gatherer sense?
-No.
What are we, then?
-l dunno. Consumers.
-Right. We're consumers.
We are by-products of a lifestyle obsession.
Murder, crime, poverty. These things don't concern me.
What concerns me are celebrity magazines,...
...television with 500 channels,...
...some guy's name on my underwear.Rogaine. Viagra. Olestra....Martha Stewart
-F… Martha Stewart.
She's polishing the brass on the Titanic. lt's all going down.
So fuck off with your sofa units and Strinne green stripe patterns.
l say never be complete.
l say stop being perfect.
l say let's evolve.

Let the chips fall where they may. But that's me, and l could be wrong.
Maybe it's a terrible tragedy. lt's just stuff. Not a tragedy...
You did lose a lot of versatile solutions for modern living.
The things you own end up owning you.
-Do what you like, man...
l see in Fight Club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived.
l see all this potential. And l see it squandered.
Goddamn it, an entire generation pumping gas.
Waiting tables.
Slaves with white collars.
Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes.
Working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need.
We're the middle children of history.
No purpose or place. We have no Great War.No Great Depression.
Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives.
We've all been raised on television to believe...that one day we'd be millionaires and movie gods and rock stars.
But we won't.
We're slowly learning that fact.
And we're very, very pissed off.

Uskoro stize Ona na blog...so, get ready for :

Kosice

Kosice, drugi grad po velicini u Slovackoj, veoma blizu madjarske granice. Jezik potpuno razumljiv nama. Ljudi obuceni odmereno elegantno, prefinjeno.

Jane

Jane Austen, (1775-1817) major English novelist whose elegant, satirical, and witty fiction was highly influential in the development of the novel. Austen was born near Basingstoke, in the parish of Steventon. The family was cultivated and prosperous, although not rich. Austen's father, himself an accomplished scholar, taught her at home and encouraged her reading and her writing. She learnt French and Italian, could draw and sing well. In the summer, she would take part in private theatricals in a barn near the family home. Austen was described by a contemporary as “a clear brunette with a rich colour, hazel eyes, fine features, and curling brown hair”. Her early novels, Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice, she later criticized as too brilliant and light, but they remain her best-loved and funniest books. Austen's six finished novels represent an extraordinary achievement and an important development in the history of the English novel. Austen turned her back on the Gothic novel form, of which an example is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, the same year as Persuasion and Austen's own satire of the Gothic form, Northanger Abbey...
