The Australian star and her make-up artist Fo Hatzis have revealed the miracle product that helps to apply foundation without streaks. The TV star named an egg-shaped sponge, called the Beauty Blender, as one of her favourite products.
Make-up expert Fo then explained how to best apply foundation for a naturally radiant look.
'You told me this tip a couple of years ago and it is fantastic, so we'll let everyone else out there know!' Dannii said when introducing Fo's expertise on MyDaily.com.
Fo initially advised to advised to rinse your sponge with water until it is soft and squishy. The beauty expert also says that special attention should be paid to the harder to reach areas of the face.
'Put foundation on your skin [at the back of your hand] and roll it on the tip of the Beauty Blender. Because it doesn't have sharp edges you can just roll it under [your eyes] and it gets to all the really hard-to-get-to areas, like under the eyes, the nose and around the hairline,' she said. 't gives you the perfect blend ' you're guaranteed to have no streaks with the Beauty Blender.'
Dannii says applying foundation with the help of a sponge, such as the Beauty Blender, gives you a wonderfully sheer look. The 39-year-old beauty says women look more attractive when their foundation looks natural and not 'stuck' to their face.
'What I find is that it makes the application of foundation ' what you're left with ' very fine and sheer and a lot thinner then when you try and put it on without one of these,' she explained. 'And I think the more sheer you can make the foundation, the more beautiful you look because you see you and you see your face and you don't see make-up sticking to your face.'
