Homeboy Industries opened a new diner, called the Homeboy Diner, at the Los Angeles City Hall on Thursday morning.
The opening began with a blessing by Father Greg Boyle.
Homeboy Industries is a nonprofit organization that was founded by Boyle to create opportunities for troubled young people.
The new diner is an extension of the Homegirl Cafe in downtown Los Angeles.
The Homeboy Diner menu includes items from the Homegirl Café and the Homeboy Bakery.
