Eva Longoria named Ambassador for Cancer Foundation

The beautiful and big hearted star Eva Longoria will appear in Public Service Announcements to raise awareness and money of ovarian cancer in a campaign sponsored by the Callaway Golf Foundation in partnership with the Entertainment Industry Foundation. Eva will appear in both TV and print PSAs to educate women about cancer and what they can do to help themselves.

Eva competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 1998 where she mesmerized the agents with her talent. She started working in television with guest spots on The Young and The Restless, The George Lopez Show, L.A. Dragnet and her huge hit Desperate Housewives. Her movie roles include starring in The Sentinel, Harsh Times, the recently wrapped comedy Over My Dead Body, and a voice over for the animated picture Foodfight. She has been on Maxim magazine's #1 Hot 100 List, appeared on numerous magazine covers, been named spokeswoman for both L'Oreal Cosmetics and Bebe Sport and honored as one of People Magazine's Most Beautiful People of 2007. EVERYBODY wanted to be Cary Grant ...

O tome koliko je Cary G. savrsen nije potrebno puno govoriti. Ona poznata zelja skoro svake zene (priznajem :) da ima pored sebe jednog lepog, ugladjenog, obrazovanog, sarmantnog dzentlemena... na metro granici, znaci odlicnog za `prikaz`, a opet uzasno duhovitog i ponekad potpuno blesavog, i naravno jako seksipilnog je upravo mini portret Granta. G. Clooney je bleda, bleda kopija Granta, jer je samo sarmantan i u godinama i toliko. Nigde dugovitosti, i Grantove izrazenog komedijastva. Znaci ako odemo samo jedan korak dalje i ako nam je draga osoba npr suvise duhovita prelazi u lik Jerry Lewis-a :) ili modernog (oh, God, no!!!) Jim Carrey-a, a ako je suvise ugladjen lako odlazi u formu npr Jeremy Irons-a ili cak Rupert Everett-a. Dakle, nema preterivanja. Idealna granica je Cary.

Nea Potidea i `Sahara`

Potidea je odlicno mesto! Na Halikidikiju blizu Soluna. Slike same govore. Voda je cista, plaza `kopakabanska`, gradic ima samo par radnji i mnogo lepih basti uredjenih do najsitnijih detalja. Ako idete turisticki i hocete najvise od ovog dela Grcke, preporucujem Potideu.

Sahara je popularni naziv plaze koja se nalazi na 30ak km od Soluna. Omiljeno je mesto za beg iz milionskog grada, prilicno usamljena, sa jednom kafanicom koja ima kao specijalitet maride (spec hrskave ribice malo vece od girica) i odlicno pivo :) Do plaze se dolazi preko peska, mocvarnog dela, nekog cudnog suvog tla i samo i jedino dobrim dzipom. Pa ko stigne dobije pre svega mir na poklon :) i to onaj ostrvski.

Milopotamos

Milopotamos je tirkizna grcka plaza na Pelionu (kod Volosa). Ako bi krenuli brodicem na jednodnevno krstarenje dosli bi vrlo brzo do mondenskog Skiatosa. Plaza je prelepa....voda je izvorski cista i topla . Put do nje prilicno strasan za one koji se plase krivina i krivina koje traju i traju...i ne prestaju....
Strmim stepenicama od plaze ide se do taverne koja nudi salatu od hobotnice, rakova, specijalitete od skoljki...sve to sa puno maslinovog ulja i mirodjije...

Alyson Stoner rocks the house at IMTA!!!!

Special Guest Star Alyson Stoner opened the IMTA Convention at the Contestant Orientation with an inspiring, humorous and fun-filled speech. She welcomed the entire IMTA group and wished them a great week. She also shared her IMTA story and how she competed and was in their very same shoes seven years ago. Since then she has starred on Disney's Mike's Super Short Show, Cheaper by the Dozen, and The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. She is also designing her own dance shoe and will be appearing in the upcoming feature film, Alice!

Alyson signed autographs and took pictures with her fans for over two hours! IMTA Contestants were thrilled to meet the young star, hear her story and spend a little a time with her!

It was a great start to our exciting IMTA week!

Jessica Biel's latest feature film premieres!

Catch IMTA alumni Jessica Biel in the premiere weekend of her latest feature film, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry! The comedy stars Adam Sandler and Kevin James. Jessica plays their lawyer in the hilarious film which is getting rave reviews!

Jessica competed at IMTA in 1994 where she debuted her acting, singing and dancing abilities. She signed with an agent and manager who helped her land the breakthrough role of Mary Camden on the beloved long-running WB series 7th Heaven. Jessica won a scholarship at IMTA to a top acting school and moved from Boulder, CO to Los Angeles. To read a great interview Jessica gave to IMTA in 1998, please visit the archived web page. IMTA: Would you recommend attending an IMTA Convention to other aspiring young actors and models?

Katie Holmes sparkles in New York!

Katie Holmes was the surprise special guest at the premiere of Hairspray in New York City. She looked stunning in a short black dress with a great haircut. Katie was there to support her pal Queen Latifah, who co-stars with Katie in their upcoming film, Mad Money. Katie walked the red carpet for the exciting premiere at the legendary Ziegfeld theatre which is across the street from the IMTA Headquarters, which will soon be hosting the upcoming IMTA New York, New York Convention!

Many beautiful models and appealing actors will be showing their skills to the agents, managers, casting directors and industry VIP's who will be scouting for new faces to represent! Katie herself is an alumni of the 1993 and 1995 IMTA New York Convention. She competed at IMTA and participated in seminars and workshops which got her noticed by industry greats Al Onorato, David Guillod and Bobby Moresco.

Katie actually shot her first audition at IMTA with the IMTA Video Crew. When Katie returned a couple of years later to present awards at IMTA, she debuted the first fifteen minutes of the pilot episode of Dawson's Creek. The entire ballroom was riveted by this ground-breaking stylish teen drama and Katie received thunderous applause! On that special night, she gave us a very nice interview saying,"Let's just say a girl from Toledo, Ohio wouldn't end up cast in a Hollywood movie if it weren't for IMTA!" Jessica Biel was looking every bit an A-List movie star on the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of her new feature film, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. The premiere was held a few nights ago at CityWalk Cinemas in Universal City, California.

Jessica competed at IMTA in 1994 where she debuted her acting, singing and dancing abilities. She signed with an agent and manager who helped her land the breakthrough on the WB series 7th Heaven. She has gone on to star in such mega movies as Stealth, Elizabethtown, The Illusionist and Next.
