Out With the Old.....

As we wind down 2010, and look ahead to 2011, I wanted to take care of one of my several loose ends from the past year.



Back in July, I met a guy named John on the D train. He had tattooed arms and we chatted a bit. He said he'd send me photos and he did a few weeks later.



I never posted the photos because the resolution was low, and when I tried to increase the size, they blurred. I was going to include these in the Christmas housecleaning post, but the work is just too good.



So hear you have them, small photos, but recognizably amazing:

I mean, what is there to say? This work is quite excellent. The koi, the tiger, the sailing ship, sugar skull, nautical stars - it's all quite a body of work!



The artist is Nacho, who appeared once before on the blog here. You can check out Nacho's work here. in New York, he tattoos out of Studio Enigma on Avenue U.

Ashley Greene y Joe Jonas en DisneyWorld

Que perrito más lindo lleva Ashley Greene, se parece al mio, pero el mio es todo negrito.
No se si estaban en el aeropuerto camino de Disneyworld, o volvían del famoso parque.
Seguramente fueron a DisneyWorld y su mágico mundo, por algún contrato que supongo obliga a las estrellas Disney como Joe, a promocionar ese parque de atracciones.
Debe ser un viaje divertido y un poco pesado.
Hacen buena pareja.
Pero Ashley Greene parece más alta que Joe Jonas, y casi nunca lleva tacones cuando van juntos.
Joe Jonas es guapo, pero parece que tiene el cuerpo muy peludo, se le ven pelos por todas partes, y seguramente se depilará, pero tiene unas cejas que parecen las de Groucho Marx, que cejotas por Dios..

Willow Smith trabaja para papá

Según TMZ que ha podido ver u obtener documentos presentados por Roc Nación.
También según Roc Nación ha llegado a un acuerdo de grabación "para la grabación exclusiva y servicios de entretenimiento de Willow Smith" con Spooky Girl, Inc.
Spooky Girl es la empresa de Willow.
Aquí el que no corre vuela, montan unos tinglados de papeleos que no hay quien se aclare o los entienda.
Y lo que es más interesante, porque Jada Pinkett Smith está en la lista de guardiana de Willow. ¿No puede estar como tutora?.
Los contratos relativos a los menores tienen mucha letra pequeña, y muchos puntos que cuesta entender.
Aunque a mi concretamente, me cuesta entender que unos padres hagan trabajar a hijos menores de edad, no necesitando el dinero.

Improvising: think chords, not just melodies

Hope you find this useful!Jazz players usually improvise not just by thinking about melodies, but also by choosing notes that go beyond the basic 1-3-5 notes in a chord. For instance, instead of using the usual C-E-G notes during a C chord, you can play a B and make the chord a Cmaj7

Como Justin Bieber y Selena Gomez son cantantes, y buenos, aparte de saber actuar.
Podrían muy bien hacer un remake de "Grease" pues tienen justo la edad para ser alumnos de instituto.
La realidad es que la amistad o enamoramiento de Justin y Selena tiene mucho de culebrón.
Besos que no son besos, ¿o si?.
Estancias en hoteles juntos.
Paseos por Miami

con miraditas avergonzadas incluidas.
En fin, que me encanta esta pareja, y como no sean pareja me llevaré un disgusto...aunque lo superaré más pronto que tarde.
Ya se que Justin tiene 16 años y Selena 18, pero Justin ha demostrado una gran madurez para esa edad, lo que contó de su madre es algo a su favor, y que hace crecer más rápido a un chico.
Convivir con ese problema no es fácil y Justin lo hizo.
Y Selena tiene las ideas claras, supongo, y también parece madura pero más mimada por sus padres y familia.
Selena niega la relación, y dice que le gustan otros.
Hay un refrán español :"Quien desprecia al burro...comprarlo quiere".
El burro, con perdón, en este caso es Justin Bieber.

Candace Cameron Bure luchó contra la bulimia

Candace Cameron Bure (Padres forzosos) , hermana de Kirk Cameron (Los problemas crecen), ha escrito su autobiografía "Reshaping it all", en la cual cuenta sus problemas con la bulimia.
Ha dicho que te metes en un círculo del que debes intentar salir, si sola no puedes, con ayuda médica.
Ya que el problema está más relacionado con la parte emocional que con la física.
Ella lo ha conseguido, cualquiera puede salir de la bulimia hay que proponérselo y pedir ayuda.
