IMTA alum Joey Hagler was recently cast by director Patrick Baca in a starring role in the feature film Backlight. According to IMDB, the film is about: "Several individuals (who) have suffered tragedies in their lives, it takes the supernatural to bring them all together in one place out in the middle of the desert to help them bring closure with all that's happened."
Joey recently worked the feature film Little Wonders. After moving to Los Angeles he auctioned for and booked the film. In the film, Joey plays a key role in a tale of several lives and separate stories all coming together with one underlying purpose. When Joey competed at IMTA in 2006 he won Honorable Mention 'Junior Actor of the year, 1st Runner up Jeans, Honorable Mention 'Junior Model of the year, Winner Monologue 2nd Runner up for 'Cold Read and a $5,000 Scholarship to The New York School For Film and Television!Stayed tuned for more about this talented and upcoming actor!
