After many great collaborations with the likes of Bernard Butler, David Arnold and Michael Nyman, David McAlmont embarks on his first solo UK tour starting on 8 February 2011.

Celebrating the release of his first Live album and DVD McAlmont will perform hits from the ever popular McAlmont and Butler 90's collaboration including 'You do' and 'Yes' as well as 'Diamonds are Forever', 'Lose My Faith', 'Isn't it a Pity' and many more timeless classics in the definitive McAlmont style providing a fresh feel that only McAlmont's vocal gift can deliver.
Recorded at Leicester Square Theatre in November 2010 the Live Album and DVD with special guest Bernard Butler provides a memorable evening with the great guitarist will be released on the Music Live from Leicester label and Cherry Red Records on 14 February 2011.
David has collaborated with an array of the UKs finest composers Craig Armstrong, David Arnold, Boo Hewerdine, Gary Clark and Courtney Pine. Most recently he garnered further critical plaudits with the song cycle 'The Glare' recorded with minimalist legend, Michael Nyman. He is currently working with Guy Davies on material for a new album to be released later this year.
