Johnny Depp has signed a swashbuckling good deal of £21million to star in a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film.
It will make him Hollywood's highest-paid actor when he reprises the role of Captain Jack Sparrow in the highly successful movie franchise.
The deal will see him paid a minimum of £21million for the flick, On Stranger Tides, but could be even higher if it proves a box office hit.Bosses at Disney have dug deep to get the star back on board, with Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom not returning this time.
Geoffrey Rush will again play Captain Barbossa and Penelope Cruz is reported to be the female lead. A source told The Sun: 'The movie will feature flashbacks to Jack's early life.'
