LOS ANGELES – Rob Lowe stars as a man awaiting trial for the slaying of his third wife in Lifetime's fact-based TV movie "The Drew Peterson Story."
Peterson, a charismatic, womanizing Chicago police officer, was charged with the death of his third wife after the mysterious disappearance of wife No. 4.
Tipped off by a neighbor, authorities arrested Peterson on suspicion of murdering the third wife, Kathleen, who was found drowned in an empty bathtub in 2004. Peterson has denied involvement in both cases and is awaiting trial.
Kaley Cuoco ("The Big Bang Theory") will play the fourth wife, Stacy.
The project is based on Joseph Hosey's book "Fatal Vows: The Tragic Wives of Drew Peterson."
