Happy Halloween from IMTA!

Looking for something spooky tonight? Several IMTA alumni deliver Halloween thrills and chills!



Check out the must-see scary thriller The Haunting of Molly Hartley. IMTA alum Haley Bennett plays the title role in the new horror movie that has everyone talking! A teenage girl discovers that her parents made a pact with the devil to save her life in The Haunting of Molly Hartley. When the devil comes to collect, she must figure out how she can save herself. The movie is directed by Micky Lidell and also stars Chace Crawford. Haley competed at the 2001 IMTA Convention where she received attention from the agents and managers who were there scouting for new talent. Watch her in her latest starring role as Molly Hartley in the feature film opening today nationwide!

IMTA alum Grace Thorsen stars in the comedy horror, My Name is Bruce. Grace plays the lead female role, Kelly, in the movie about a monster who is killing people in a small mining town in Oregon. Grace won Actress of the Year at the IMTA convention in Los Angeles, January 2007. My Name is Bruce will be screened in New York City Halloween weekend with a Q & A session with Bruce Campbell. IMTA alum Mika Boorem is guest-starring on tonight's episode of Ghost Whisperer. Season 4 Episode 5 titled 'Bloodline". Ghost Whisperer is the Halloween primetime show on CBS. In this episode, Mika plays a murdered athletic teenager who is haunting a family that is not her own. Since attending IMTA in New York in 1994, Mika has guest starred on various television shows including The Drew Carey Show, Ally McBeal, Touched By An Angel, and Dawson's Creek.

Jill Wagner in Splinter!

IMTA alum Jill Wagner's new feature film Splinter is premiering today at this year's annual Screamfest Horror Film Festival in Hollywood! You can get a sneak peak by watching the trailer above! Splinter is getting rave reviews! Fangoria.com says Splinter is,"one of the year's best independent horror films." The famed horror magazine and website Fangoria is also hosting a free screening in New York City on October 24th so click through on the link for all the details!

Jill plays Polly Watt, the female lead in the film. A leading horror site describes the plot as, "The creature-feature is set in and around a quiet gas station on a lonely freeway, where a terrifying virus-like monster inhabits the bodies of its victims and drives them with a relentless lust for blood. The virus monster twists the bodies of its prey into the shapes best suited to carry out its unrelenting desire to infect more victims and kill again."

Jill competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2001 where she won Female Model of the Year! Many people know Jill as the Lincoln Mercury car girl as she has done many ad campaigns for the auto giant. She has a new Mercury commercial playing nation-wide! She played an operative on fellow IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher's hilarious show Punk'd and while on the show she punk'd Katie Holmes, yet another IMTA alum! Her television roles include Monk, Dr. Vegas, starring as Larrin in Stargate Atlantis, Blade: The Series, and she starred in the independent films Junebug and Shifted. Jill was a co-host of the hit reality summer series, Wipeout!
