Jon Kent Ethridge in Black Dynamite!

IMTA alum Jon Kent Ethridge's film Black Dynamite is in theaters now! This film is about the conflicts and struggles of black people in poor neighborhoods. In this moving film, Jon portrays "young black Dynamite" the lead character as a child. Jon will also guest-star this week on an episode of the popular show iCarly. The episode is called iFight Shelby Marx and Jon plays the character Grover.

Jon competed at IMTA in New York in 2004 where he signed with Martin Weiss of Martin Weiss Management. He recently starred in a Nickelodeon Movie of the Week called Last Day of Summer. Jon also guest-starred as Young Blade on an episode of Blade - The Series on Spike TV which stars another IMTA alum, former Model of the Year, Jill Wagner. He has been featured in commercials for Target and State Farm Insurance and on the television show Out of Jimmy's Head!

Jon Kent Ethridge and Logan Manus in Land of The Lost Opening Today!!

Looking for a good movie this weekend? Check out Land of The Lost and look for two IMTA alumni: Jon Kent Ethridge and Logan Manus. Logan and Jon appear in this action adventure comedy which is based on the television show of the same name from the 1970s.


Logan competed at IMTA in 2003 and signed with Debra-Lynn Findon of Discover Management. He returned to IMTA in Los Angeles this past January where he presented awards to this year's competition winners! Logan has appeared in both television and on the big screen! He was in Will Ferrell's last big movie Step Brother, Underdog and Stacey's Mom with fellow IMTA alum Mario Cassem! His other credits include Patsy's Place and Zoey 101.

Logan Manus and Jon Kent Ethridge in Land of the Lost!

Two IMTA alums are starring in the this summer's expected blockbuster feature film, The Land of the Lost--Logan Manus and Jon Kent Ethridge! Logan plays a supporting role and Jon is Teenager #1!

Logan Manus

Dominic Janes Honored at the CARE Awards

Last night IMTA alum Dominic Janes was honored with an award at CARE which stands for Child Actor Recognition Event. To win an award the child actors must have worked professionally in 2007, studied acting, be a union member, have an appropriate on line presence, do an art project, kept a 3.0 grade point average in school, have performed community service, and written an essay. Parents are also required to to pass certain requirements. This was fourth annual red carpet event which was held at the Globe Theatre inside Universal Studios in Hollywood.

Dominic competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2004 and signed with Rising Talent Management. His first movie role was as Billy Madison in the comedy Wild Hogs with John Travolta. He starred on the hit drama ER for two seasons and appeared in Crossing Jordan. He is currently starring as Jimmy Roberts in a new show called Out of Jimmy's Head which plays on Cartoon Network. This show is a cutting-edge combination of live actors working with cartoons and stars another IMTA alum Jon Kent Etheridge. He has a recurring role on the break out drama Dexter. Two IMTA alumni, Dominic Janes and Jon Kent Ethridge, are starring in Out of Jimmy's Head, a new series debuting on September 14 on Cartoon Network. Out of Jimmy's Head is a cutting-edge combination of live actors working with cartoons. This exciting new series is based on the hit original movie Re-Animated which starred Dominic as Jimmy. The story revolves around Jimmy who has a freak accident at an amusement park and for him to survive he receives the brain of Milt Appleday, a famous cartoon creator. When he wakes up, he can see cartoons! Jon Kent plays his uncoordinated and funny best buddy Craig.
