IMTA's Ashley Greene Wins at 2011 MTV Movie Awards!

IMTA alum Ashley Greene's hit movie Twilight released the official trailer for the anxiously awaited Breading Dawn - Part 1 during the 2011 MTV Movie Awards! Ashley, along with the entire Twilight cast, won numerous awards at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards ceremony for Best Kiss, Best Fight, and Best Movie! Ashley tweeted,
"Just landed and heard the great news! Twilight fans are undoubtedly the most loyal incredible fans! We love you guys!!! Thanks for the love!"
Ashley competed at IMTA in 2004 and has been cast in numerous roles since IMTA, including Summer's Blood, Shrink, Otis and Radio Free Albemuth. Ashley is currently working on many new films including Butter, LOL, A Warrior's Heart, The Apparition and The Boom Boom Room.

Josh Duhamel at the MTV Movie Awards!

IMTA Alum Josh Duhamel was a presenter at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards. He appeared onstage with his Transformers : Dark Side of the Moon costars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Patrick Dempsey.

Josh competed at IMTA in New York in 1997 when he won Male Model of the Year. Famously, he and Ashton Kutcher closely competed that year at IMTA and each ended up with top prizes (Ashton won Most Sought After Male Model).

Jessica Biel at the MTV Movie Awards!



Check out IMTA alum Jessica Biel announcing Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson as the winners for Best Kiss during the 2010 MTV Movie Awards! Jessica looked gorgeous in a Giambattista Valli dress with a sheer, dotted, white top, a frilly black skirt and a pink bow at the waist.

Jessica Biel competed at IMTA in 1994 where she sang a charming rendition of The Lullabye of Broadway complete with a top hat and cane! Her beauty, acting potential and singing and dancing abilities caught the attention of the agents, managers and casting directors who attend every IMTA Convention looking for new faces to represent.

Jessica gave an exclusive interview to us in 1998 after starring in the hit WB television series 7th Heaven. You can read the entire archived interview here! Here's an excerpt from that interview:

How has your life changed since you attended the IMTA Convention?
Jessica: I went from amateur to professional actress thanks to my personal manager Diane Hardin and my agent Jeff Morrone who I met at the IMTA Convention.

Would you recommend attending an IMTA Convention to other aspiring young actors and models?
Jessica: Definitely! You will meet people who can change your life and make your dreams come true!

MTV Movie Award Nominations Include IMTA Alumni Films!


The 2007 MTV Movie Awards nominations were announced this week and IMTA Alumni films are among the honorees! Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest leads the pack as the most-nominated film for this year's MTV Movie Awards. Two IMTA alums appeared in this widely popular movie, Americus Abesamis and Neil Panlasigui.

Click, which co- stars the young IMTA alum Joseph Castanon,also received a nomination for a MTV movie award. Joseph portrays the lead character's ( Adam Sandler) son.

Another young up and coming actor and IMTA alum, Moises Arias's film Nacho Libre is up for an award as well.

One of IMTA's most recognizable actors Josh Duhamel has a movie nominated in a new category: his upcoming film The Transformers: The Movie is competing for 'Best Summer Movie You Haven't Seen Yet'. Tune in June 3rd live to see how many of these fabulous IMTA alumni films will be honored by the MTV movie awards.
