Free Games for PS3 Outage Announced, Includes Dead Nation, inFamous, and More

It looks like Sony has finally answered the question left probing some gamers minds as they struggle to cling to the fleeting trending topic of the PlayStation Network being down and now PlayStation Network being up. Sony is offering some great games as a "Thank You" for dealing with the inconvenience in addition to some other perks as well.

First off gamers will get to choose 2 out of the following 5 PS3 games to keep for free forever: Dead Nation, inFamous, LittleBigPlanet, Super Stardust HD, Wipeout HD + Fury. On PlayStation Portable you will be allowed to select 2 from LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers, Pursuit Force, and Killzone Liberation.

Modern Warfare 3 Trailer Rolls Out Early Following "Leak"

OMG guys can you believe it? There's actually going to be a Modern Warfare 3! It's coming in 2011 too, because that's what Call of Duty does. It's like Madden, a new version right before the calendar flips each and every year.



There were many rumors posted about the new Call of Duty title over at Kotaku this morning, many of which were quite spoilerific if true including talk of destructible environments and vehicles. Activision reps claim that a a good portion of the so called "leaked" information was inaccurate, but didn't explain much beyond that. They did release a new trailer however, just don't expect a whole lot out of it.
