In a recent interview, Entourage's Kevin Connelly revealed that he and Brandon Routh will be starring a new film together! Brandon will be playing the role of Gene Krupa in the film about the first interracial band in the 1930's. Brandon is currently taking drum lessons to prepare for the role!
Brandon Routh steamed up the screen as Superman/Clark Kent in Superman Returns last summer! Brandon competed at IMTA in 1999 in New York City and was a favorite with the agents, managers and casting directors. Routh was chosen for the role of Superman following an exhaustive search that spanned the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. Prior to his break through role as the Man of Steel, Routh was best known for his soap work, including roles on One Life to Live and the MTV nighttime soap, Undressed. He's also had guest-starring roles on Cold Case, Will & Grace, and Gilmore Girls. Brandon recently wrapped the dramatic film, Life is Hot in Cracktown which is scheduled for release in 2008.
