The reason Sharon Stone has lost physical custody of her 8-year-old son, Roan, has to do with where she lives, not whether or not she is a good mother.
People reports that the judge in the Sept. 12 custody hearing decided that Roan — who lives with his father, Phil Bronstein, in the San Francisco Bay Area and goes to school there — should remain with his father unless his mother relocates to San Francisco.
"The court does not find that (a) move away is in child's best interest. "[Phil Bronstein] can provide a more structured continuity, stable, secure, and consistent home that child, Roan, needs."Sharon will continue to "have access to child" and her phone number "shall be programmed into the child's telephone and home phone," People reports.
