Jose Canseco is Ready for Primetime

So...Donald Trump can see the future right?

Given the crop of crazies he has put together for this go 'round of "The Celebrity Apprentice", he had to have known back in October that this week's headlines were going to be dominated by tiger blood and "winning".

Think about it...who else can compete with the likes of Charlie Sheen when it comes to garnering airtime? Gary Busey, NeNe Leakes and, of course, Hall of Very Good favorite Jose Canseco...that's who.

Now, it goes without saying that I'll have the feed bag strapped on and my ass in the chair Sunday night to watch the premiere...especially given the prominence of Canseco in the show's promos.

But before you do that...watch the preview of the man who has "lived life ten times over".

Memory Lane: David Cassidy plays at Turning Stone

TURNING STONE -- He played before an intimate crowd of only 300 people -- but for those who saw David Cassidy at Turning Stone Thursday night, it was a trip down memory lane."When I was a young teeny bobber I was madly in love with David Cassidy and I wanted to marry him and have his children," said Lolly Furano."I'm a huge fan, I've followed him all around. The first time I saw him and met him was at the State Fair when he opened for the Beach Boys in 1990," said Janus Pliszczak.

David Cassidy was a teenage heart throb in the 1970's, starring in the hit TV sitcom The Partridge Family. For those who need a modern day reference (admittedly, myself included) -- think of Cassidy as the Justin Beiber of his time."He was my heart throb when I was 12 or 14 years old...the poster I had up on my bedroom wall," said Mary Beth Beckwith. "I've just love him ever since.""He was hot in his day -- super hot --I mean (he was) good looking, had a TV show and sang," said Anita Cristaldi.Many fans told me seeing David Cassidy in concert was like taking a trip down memory lane -- and allowed them to be 14 years old again. 'Celebrity Apprentice': Donald Trump sings Richard Hatch, Gary Busey, Marlee Matlin's praises

Donald Trump forecasts it will take only "a couple of months" to get the newest family member into the boardroom.

Daughter Ivanka is expecting her first child with publisher husband Jared Kushner, so the baby won't be part of the Trump family dynasty yet in the latest round of "The Celebrity Apprentice." Already taped, the 11th edition of the "Apprentice" franchise starts its NBC telecasts Sunday, March 6 -- with contestants ranging from singers David Cassidy and Dionne Warwick to actors Gary Busey and Marlee Martlin, model Niki Taylor and controversial baseball veteran Jose Canseco.

"For every slot, we probably had five to six people who wanted to come on," Trump tells Zap2it. "You don't realize how many celebrities there are. The first time we did this, it was tougher, then we had great success with people like Joan Rivers and Piers Morgan. Now, everybody wants to be on the show."

Trump doesn't believe he changed his approach to accommodate deaf, Oscar-winning actress Matlin ("Children of a Lesser God''). She was accompanied throughout production of "The Celebrity Apprentice" by her longtime interpreter, Jack Jason.
