Be sure to catch the encore presentation of Yours, Mine and Ours starring two IMTA alums Sean Faris and Mateo Arias this Saturday May 26 on Showtime. This is a comical story about a blended family of eighteen children and all the drama, fun, and chaos that happens when their newly married parents try to raise the kids let alone children from different families. The the problems start as the two groups of kids, the free spirits and the conservative preppies, must live together. The warring factions agree to work together to end the marriage. In this hilarious movie Sean Faris plays William Beardsley and Mateo plays one of the bullies.
Sean competed at IMTA in 1999 and won Junior Male Model of the Year. He has worked both on the big and little screen. Some of his projects include the TV show Reunion which is about friends who gather for their 20th high school reunion when one is murdered they all become suspects and the cult classic Life as We Know It. He starred in the feature film Forever Strong and played Rick, the lead character. The film is about a troubled young man who loses his position as the star of an Arizona Rugby team after being sentenced to a boy's home in Salt Lake. Sean was featured in several memorable campaigns, including Abercrombie & Fitch and Armani. He also starred in the feature film Sleepover with two other IMTA alums, Kallie Childress and Mika Boorem. Sean is currently working on the thriller Brooklyn to Manhattan about a drug deal gone bad.
Mateo competed at IMTA in 2005 with his brother Moises. Since competing he has been working in television, motion pictures, theater, and commericals. He has guest starred in popular Disney TV show Drake and Josh. He and his brother recently acted in a played called Water And Power which ran at the Mark Taper Theater in Los Angeles. Mateo has been very busy filming national commercials such as Round Table Pizza, Snickers Bars and a commercial for Father's Day. Don't miss this hilarious family comedy this weekend!
