Matthew Florida joins the Cast of Days!
IMTA alum Matthew Florida has joined the cast of the daytime drama Days of Our Lives as a recurring character. Matthew will originate the role of Ford Decker, described as,"a 21 year-old, drop-dead-gorgeous born leader & fearless college athlete. His confidence, bordering on arrogance, doesn't distract from his appeal. He is smooth & charming without being cheesy. His very presence makes the ladies swoon. Along with his good looks & hard body there is an edge of danger that adds to his charisma and mystery."
Matthew competed at IMTA in 2005 after talent scout Nikki Pederson selected him to compete at IMTA (International Modeling and Talent Association Convention). During the IMTA, Florida was signed by Peter Kluge at Impact Artists. One month later, Matthew made the 23 hour road trip in his pick-up and landed in L.A. He has appeared in a variety of commercials and films and is thrilled to be recurring on Days of Our Lives. Matthew's character debuted on October 9th and his story arc is front and center this week so be sure and tune into NBC to watch Matthew in action!
