Sofia competed at IMTA in New York, where she won the title of Child Actress of the Year and she was the first runner-up for Child Model of the Year 2000! While competing at IMTA, Sofia garnered a lot of interest from the managers, agents and casting directors who were scouting at the Convention. If you are interested in IMTA, please click here! Sofia signed with a manager and went on to star in many films such as Eloise at the Plaza, The Brady Bunch in the White House, Inhabited, Hurt, and Day Zero. This is not Sofia's first major award! Sofia also won a Best Supporting Young Artist Award in 2006 for Best Performance in a TV Drama for her work on the television series Medium!

The Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Bromatic Comedy went to Marley & Me! IMTA alum Haley Bennett plays Lisa in the feature film and shares a very dramatic scene with Owen Wilson. Haley competed at IMTA in 2001 where she wowed the agents and managers who were at IMTA scouting for new talent. Her first big movie was Music and Lyrics where she acted and sang! Haley is in post-production on a new film called Arcadia Lost. She is currently working on a new thriller called The Hole where she portrays the character Julie Campbell. This scary movie is due out in 2010!
The Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Show Comedy went to Hannah Montana! IMTA alum Moises Arias plays Rico in the hit Disney ensemble sitcom. Moises competed at IMTA in Los Angeles in 2005 with his brother Mateo. Shortly after IMTA, Moises got his break with appearances on Everybody Hates Chris and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody before landing the role of Rico on the hit show Hannah Montana! He made his feature film debut in 2006 starring in Nacho Libre opposite Jack Black. He competed at the 2008 Disney Channel Games with fellow IMTA alumni, Alyson Stoner and Kunal Sharma. He also starred in the film Hannah Montana The Movie, The Perfect Game, Beethoven's Big Break and Dadnapped!
