Alice Eve, the daughter of acting veterans Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan, has secured a role in the sequel to Sex and the City.
She will play a nanny to Kristin Davis’ character Charlotte Goldenblatt, who is now a mother of two.
Eve is at the centre of a storyline in which Charlotte fears her husband is being unfaithful to her with the pretty blonde help.
It is the 27 year-old Eve’s first big break in Hollywood and is set to boost her profile internationally.
She has already appeared in hits such as Starter for Ten, Stage Beauty and The Rotters Club.
Sex and the City was a huge hit when it was released last year, bringing the adventures of Carrie Bradshaw and her three best friends to the silver screen.
